Bradshaw has the best employees around…okay, we’re a little biased but honestly, each employee plays a huge part in the success of Bradshaw and we want you to meet each of them! We will shine the “spotlight” on an employee each month so stayed tuned!
Our first Employee Spotlight is focused on Daniel De La Cruz…
What is your role at Bradshaw?
Let’s see…there are so many! I am a part of the Network Print Division and focus on sales and technical phone support. I also help with will call at the Tech Stop. I do whatever needs to be done within the company.
What is the greatest thing about the Bradshaw culture?
I like the fact that we like to have fun and eat! I have never worked with a company or really ever heard of a company doing the things that we do, like Angry Birds or the runt bike races.
What is your greatest accomplishment in the past year (professional or personal)?
That’s a hard one, I have so many. I don’t really think I have one. I just do what needs to be done day by day.
What are your passions/interests outside of Bradshaw?
Watching my daughter play soccer on the weekends. I think I might enjoy it more than she does! And the Dallas Cowboys of course! I really like to watch sports and I follow all the major teams in Dallas.
What drives you? Who inspires you the most?
My little family. I get up every morning and drive 70 miles a day in Dallas traffic for my girls. I want to make sure they have all that they need.
Who do you admire the most?
I admire my parents who immigrated to the United States for a better life for me and my brother and sisters. They didn’t know English but made it through rough times and have lived here now over 45 years. They both are U.S. Citizens which they had to study long and hard for but showed me if you put your mind to it, it can be done.
How long have you been at Bradshaw?
5 Years this July.
What is your greatest memory at Bradshaw so far?
Most recently, I would say being a part of introducing the Bradshaw Angry Birds game. Also when we got to drink a beer for the Super Bowl party!
What is little known fact about you?
I would say that I started to work on printers when I was still in high school. I was only 17!
If you could meet any famous person, living or deceased, who would it be?
I would say Jerry Jones. I would tell him to stop messing up the Cowboys. Sit down and be quiet like other owners do. Well, maybe I wouldn’t say it out loud I but I would say it in my mind!
